Uplifted eyelids and long lashes? What could be better?

What is Upneeq?

Open your eyes to an innovative, nonsurgical solutions for droopy upper eyelids. All it takes is a drop a day to reveal wider, brighter, more rested-looking eyes that last for hours.

Upneeq is the only FDA-approved prescription eyedrop for acquired ptosis (low-lying lids) that lifts your upper eyelids to open your eyes. The once daily eyedrop temporarily lifts the muscle of the upper eyelid, causing the eyes to open wider. This results in younger-looking eyes and an overall more rejuvenated appearance. Results last up to 8 hours.

How does it work?

Upneeq is a prescription eyedrop. Upneeq’s active ingredient consists of a 0.1 percent oxymetazoline hydrochloride ophthalmic solution. Oxymetazoline is found in other medications, like nasal decongestant spray. With Upneeq, oxymetazoline causes the upper eyelid muscle to contract (tighten up). This causes a subtle lifting effect and opens the eyes wider.

What Is Latisse?

Latisse is an FDA-approved treatment used to grow lashes, specifically for people who have trouble growing hair around the eye, have scant lashes, or are experiencing eyelash loss due to stress or illness.

How does it work?

Latisse is safe, effective, and suitable for use on most people who experience eyelash loss. The main ingredient in Latisse, bimatoprost, encourages eyelashes to grow thicker and longer.

Using Latisse is incredibly easy. To apply, simply put a few drops of the Latisse solution to the thin, eyeliner-like brush and gently brush along the base of your upper lash line. Start from the inner corner of your eyelid and draw a line towards the outer corner, just like you’re applying your favorite eyeliner.

After a few weeks of use, you should start to see a noticeable difference in the length and fullness of your lashes. However, Latisse is not a permanent solution to eyelash loss. It is usually only effective while you’re using the solution—so once you stop using it, you might see a decrease in length and fullness after a few months.

We like to think of these products as a nap in a bottle. You send a message of being brighter eyed and alert, but it doesn’t draw attention to itself like “Hey, look what I did.”
